Although it’s normal for any Bethesda game to get any mod the fans desire, which is the core design philosophy of the studio, these Star Wars mods in particular reveal something bigger than that. They reveal what game many players wanted instead of Starfield, and why the base game was rejected and deemed unworthy, because its genre didn’t appeal to some people.

Also just to clarify couple of things.

The internal trailers were nothing more than technical demos intended only for Bethesda/Xbox executives/engineers. They aren't meant to show the game, but probably certain aspects of the engine, or as an update on the project overall. These are never meant to be shown to the public at any event.

As of the game being in a playable state, this is also nothing more than a barebone build (not even an Alpha), and used only during development by the designers to push and test their codes. This playable build can be ready very early during development, when no quest has been written yet, and no city or POI has been designed. There is still a long way to go until all of those are completed.

If you don’t like a game you simply move on and forget about it, but to keep talking about it and make it look like its own fans don’t like it too, LoL that’s so lame and shows you are taking this personally.
