See AllBattlefield 6 Reveals Class and Weapon System Changes
As a long time Battlefield veteran. I do not support the unlocked weapon choices. It breaks apart the core DNA from the Class System. The development team does not need to cater to other video games or follow video game trends.
The core Battlefield community wants what Battlefield 3 & Battlefield 4 had to offer but higher resolution in graphics, explosion, new maps, and possible returning fan favorite maps. Vehicles need to feel similar to BF4 & BF3 but better.
We don't want flashy characters, weapons or vehicles skins. We want military colors. It's okay to be a little bit of customizing like a player model to choose skin color, gender, etc
The core Battlefield community does not want anything that Battlefield 2042 brought to the table. We never asked for that game and what it brought to the table. Most Battlefield players playing 2042 just accepted what it was and played it but didn't enjoy it at all.
I have many of the hardcore Battlefield community still playing Battlefield 4 and they want a new game to be proud to migrate to. The Battlefield developers need to listen and not follow trends or what Electronic Arts wants from their investors.
The game will not sell well if they don't listen to the community. The game won't sell well if the map design isn't great. It's all about how the game feels. The game has so much potential because it's a modern Battlefield setting.
Also the Campaign and a part of the Multiplayer needs to work offline on day one from a disc. Game preservation needs to be a core part of this upcoming title to ensure it doesn't fall off in the foreseeable future. The part of multiplayer that needs to work offline with bots. The player doesn't need to earn stats. It's about ensuring the player is having fun and making sure the game won't die if servers go completely offline years down the road.
Don't pull a DOOM and put only 1% of the game on Disc. Game preservation is important.
