See AllYouTube Reveals Controversial New Video Game Content Upload Policies
As a gamer, content creator and also a viewer I agree with this to an extent.
I agree that the gambling ads, gambling sponsors, and gambling videos are getting out of hand and have seen way to many people lose so much to gambling and now it's stream lined and totally ok.
Violence in video games is border line. If you need to mark certain content as 18+ then fine, but who determines what is violent in video games? Are you going to ban every game with guns or hack and slash or car crashing games because they are determined violent? This is getting out of hand
Ubisoft Addresses Controversial Upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage DLC
The problem with all the recent Ubisoft Assassins Creed games is they forgot about the reason of the game. Hear me out, I'm a lover of the game and loved the movie, even if it got bad praise.
If I remember correctly in the first 4 games they had a reason for the Animus to be in existence and the "now" timeline had a purpose, a storyline that you actually played and told the story why they laid down and jumped into the past. As time went on the "now" story line got weaker and weaker and the purpose was pretty much gone. Don't get me wrong, part of it is still there but they lost the playable "now" storyline.
This is what made the purpose of Assassin's Creed the story and familiarity. I cringed from being afraid of high things when I played the "now" story when I had to parkour up a building. Story telling not just in the past but current story is needed.
I own all the games and played them out of loyalty but an Assassin's Creed game hasn't truly been an Assassin's Creed game for a very long time.
If Ubisoft gets their head out of their rear ends and remembers what made the original games so special, it would be popular and great again. I've moved on to other games and can't remember the last time, maybe AC4 I bought on day 1. The rest was past play almost the entire game and was bored.
