Yep. This article said nothing about season 3 "being in the works" dont know where you read that. But on the other hand, you do realize that this article is good news yes? It means solo leveling is getting really popular and making money. As long as theirs source material and the anime is selling well, they will make a season 3. Season 2 just recently ended so be patient. Ive known other animes to have a 1 to 3 year hiatus between seasons.

I love more mature anime themes. I started out watching isekai, but found many of them to just be repeated clones of the primary isekai anime series. (Isekai is basically about someone who is taken from their world, either by death or being transported, and placed into another world, where they are usually given powers they never had in their previous world) until I found "jobless reincarnation" forget the Japanese name given, but it is unlike most other isekai as in the main character isnt just immediately over powered, and actually has struggle. Jobless reincarnation is a more mature themed and realistic isekai that has actual danger and loss etc. But in my search for similar isekai, I came across "solo leveling" and while it's not an isekai, it has a more adult and mature theme dealing with death etc.

Solo leveling is awesome and I cant wait for season 3!
