I’m going to buy the game no matter what because it’s going to be a lot of fun to play, just like the last one. Those of you who want to opt out because of some story you’re telling yourselves about wanting your games to be ‘free of political angles’ or whatever you’re imagining any whiff of the stupidly controversial subjects pop culture and bro culture have deemed currently verboten might look like can enjoy sitting this one out — there will still be plenty of fun to be had for the rest of us. Enjoy your time away from the franchise! I bet you’ll all still quietly buy it on sale when no one’s looking. 🙂

@matthew And this is where this type of response from Gabrielle is regularly called out undeservedly by insecure people. It is *NOT* — [repeat] — *NOT* rubbing someone’s face ‘in it’ by pointing out something someone thinks should be discussed openly or called attention to, but the moment anyone that isn’t male and often white and often heterosexual dares so speak up and say something, the hands go up and it’s all ‘whoa, whoa, how dare you point this out and make me aware of it, rubbing it in my face like that’ as if anyone possibly offended or disappointed by a societal pattern should just keep that completely to themselves and shut up about it. That, Matthew, is why life is like it is these days and particularly surrounding issues like this — way too much masculine insecurity.
