Hope s2/15 is better than s1/14 was. S1 had some questionable episodes and directional choices, Space Babies, the street sign retcon, musical numbers out of nowhere (musical numbers are fine but they have to fit and not just be jammed in like in Devil’s Chord), episodes that felt unfinished (43 yards), the Doctor crying every episode and episodes that start strong but fizzle out (Joy to the World).

It might but bringing him back a fourth time will undoubtedly be a bad look for a series boasting about a Doctor with different faces but can’t even move on from one. Don’t think Ncuti’s the problem here, he played the Doctor well but the problem was with the writing. Undeveloped plots, mysteries that don’t make sense, space babies, singing for no reason (I’m fine with musical numbers if they fit, none of them did this season), lack of character bonding, way too much crying from the Doctor. The best way to fix doctor who is to fix the writing, before the franchise becomes the show were actors go to die.
