Piracy's actual impact on the industry is minimal. The billions of dollars they estimate losing is just that, an estimate. They base that number on thinking that every view from a pirate is a sale. It's not. Especially in other countries who tend to pirate things because they'd otherwise be completely unavailable.

And yet, here you are third wheel complaining about complainers. If anything, it took longer for you to read the article, and scroll down to voice your disdain, than it took for people already on Twitter to see the post and not like it.

Yikes that epilogue was terrible. Didn't add anything of substance and really only added more questions while not really providing any answers people had with the original ending.

I genuinely hope they do reboot it. The problem they had was the content from the demo was literally just the full game. They had no direction. They didn't know what to do with the game.

The core gameplay and movement were incredibly fluid and fun. All they needed to do was have actual loot and cosmetics, enough content to play through, and an actual story. Then they could focus on stuff like enemy, environment, and mission varieties. Like, it would've been incredibly easy for Anthem to succeed they just didn't even know what kind of game they wanted to make and ended up making nothing more than a tech demo.
