Dude. They use shift. They also use multiple platforms. This literally just means that they need this in the eula to allow shift to communicate across platforms. Shift first connects to the platform you play the game on, then it connects to the game. It has to do sanity checks to make sure theyre not putting someone who has a modded client into a vanilla game.
Fix your god awful AI or hire better writers. You guys do this several times a day. Fix whatever you guys do that feeds misinformation. You guys know we can report you to advertisers and just straight up report the page for misinformation, right?
