Hearts Of Iron 4: Best Gameplay Mods To Try Out
I've seen all these lists about the best Hearts of Iron 4 mods out there, and I have only one question to ask:
WHERE IS EQUESTRIA AT WAR?!?!?
It's a mod made by a bunch of fans of My Little Pony, and they turned what could just be a joke concept into a mod as comprehensive and insanely detailed as Kaissereich. We're talking three original fantasy continents with dozens of nations, new unique mechanics for each different nation, highly well written stories and lore, and so many horse-puns. They even put in custom models for soldiers replacing them with ponies and other fantasy creatures, and made all the icons and artwork pony-themed, all while keeping a WWII aesthetic.
Best of all, it's still continuously being updated, so it works with current builds of the game, unlike mods like the Star Wars mod. It's on the front page of Steam Workshop as one of the highest rated mods of the game, and the fact that not a SINGLE mod list I've seen mentions EaW just boggles the mind.
