I honestly hope they stick to linear story. I loved the linear zelda games, but never managed to sit through to finish the new ones. I loved dark souls, but found elden ring mediocre. This trend of going openworld can be cool I guess, but it doesnt fit if you have a story to tell, it should be left for games like Genshin who dont really care about their own story much

Uh, did whoever wrote this just miss the entire story arc of Yamato? She already asked to join and Luffy was okay with her doing so. Shes currently walking the path of Oden in wano, And after that she will come join the strawhats. If she doesnt, not only will her story not be completed but also having Yamato on the ship makes much more sense than Vivi judging by power level. My only question is 'which role would she fill' since everyone has a specific job. Captain, swordsman, sniper, cook, navigator, doctor, archeologist, shipwright, musician, helmsman. So what is the 10th role? 2nd swordsman? I feel like thats too plain and boring for Oda to just give her the same role Zoro already has
