I’m not going to write that Veilguard was all terrible, I had my fun at first, but it was a hollow experience. It did not feel like DA, none of the nuance was present. The final straw for me was when you have to fight two archdaemons at once. After playing the previous titles I was expecting something epic. What a total let down, distilling all the flaws of the Veilguard into one encounter. It was downhill all the way after that, and I finished it as soon as I could. I could have excused the bland characters and (less likely) the boring gameplay but it threw away all the careful world building of the previous entries. And yet you write that it was 10/10, then double down on it.
