I agree. The movie could have been so much better, with a few small changes. The "evil doll" was pure BS. They never did explain the silver orb, found inside the dolls heads. A piece of Longlegs was in each doll? How? What was it? How did Longlegs get exposed to Satanism and infect the dolls he made?

I really liked the whole idea of the movie, but it just fell short with no back story of Longlegs. Nic Cage was absolutely awesome as Cobblepot or whatever Longlegs real name was. He was creepy as hell, but to little kids, kinda sorta looked like a clown, so Agent Harker as a child, didn't fear him. Agent Harker was played really well too, and reminded of Agent Starling for sure.
