Seeing as megas were the gimmick of the Kalos region, it makes sense that they'd return...but I still contend that it should have regional forms for the starters (to keep it in line with PLA) and megas for a handful of non-starters.

If I had to guess, these starters will get regional forms (to keep the game on line with PLA) and megas will be given to other Pokémon (to line it up with the gimmick).
