I think the more realistic option is that if they remaster fallout 3 they will remaster new vegas. Microsoft owns obsidian now and its pretty much the same as working on fallout3.
My mage playthrough on expert would have been almost impossible with out conjuration. The ai sucks but can potentially do huge damge. The gloom wraith, xivilli and lich can one shot enemies even on expert. Plus turn undead is crazy useful too to even out fights against undead.
