I doubt they’d use something as depressing as “our beloved” for someone who got to live a full, happy life rather than “here lies” or “rest in peace”.

I agree with this! And once the game comes out and you really think it could use something added, just make a mod yourself! There’s plenty of tutorials for first-time modders online, and you making a mod doesn’t affect ConcernedApe and his creative process. I understand that some people just want to share their ideas, but it’s best to keep those between you and friends when a game is still in progress for being made as it could overwhelm the developer.

Monsters, weapons, and lore aren’t necessary for a farming sim either. If every game was strictly what was necessary for its genre, they’d all be the same. If you don’t like the romance mechanic, just don’t use it! It’s entirely optional. You could also just play another game without a romance mechanic. Nobody is forcing you to play games you don’t enjoy, nor make negative comments about a game with a lot of passion and time put into it.
