There's basically no powercrept in this game and it never forces you to spend money on anything bro. The game has flaws but "greedy devs" isn't one of them.

Besides, web events are very common. Even if it's just 40 primogems, it adds up to like 2 extra pulls per patch. Not a lot but still something considering they only take like 3 minutes to finish.
