The only issue I had with FF9 is that they claim that the princess is the most beautiful in the world, but the rendering choice of the developers for FF9 made them all look like children and I was not comfortable with the running narrative of Garnets beauty. It felt like boarder line pedophilia in my opinion. It was a drastic change from the FF8 character development. If the remake had the cast actually look their age then I might consider. I might get some hate for this but whatever, It's an opinion.
