See AllIt's Time To Say Goodbye To Solo Leveling's Protagonist Forever
Did you not read SL, the system was created to upgrade a human so that the Shadow Monarch could inhabit his body. He instead let Sung take the role of Shadow Monarch. The system in Ragnarok was created to help Sohu grow into his powers by his father.
Solo Leveling Season 3 Will Officially Make Major Changes To The Story
I don't have a problem with minor changes; what they have done so fare hasn't really changed the pacing of the IP. I expected, and hoped, them to add some scenes to flesh out the story some. What I hate hearing is any Director "taking creative liberties" with properties that was already popular before they came along. That's ok when you are filming a movie from just a script, but they have a fully evolved and beautifully drawn Manga that fans love. Directors don't really have excuses to be taking liberties when they have that. It's extremely frustrating for fans when people make unwarranted changes just cause they think they know better. Dragonball Evolution and The Last Airbender come to mind but I'm sure there are plenty of other examples. Sometimes they get it right, the end of The Mist was so much better than the original Stephen King even said he prefers it to his ending. Directors need to temper that desire to "improve" a property with the knowledge that the IP was popular before they came along and upsetting the fans is not going to garner any love from them.
Solo Leveling Is Crunchyroll's Most Watched Anime Of All Time, But One Anime Is Far Superior
I'm so over the Solo Leveling hate. I love the series because it is fun and takes itself seriously. It's not built around a hero who is surrounded by a bunch of overly developed and over-powered women who all have a thing for him, no matter what YouTube says. The animation looks good and the changes made from the original manwah actual help the story. Is it a perfect show or story, no. Much like most shorts stories with large casts, there is not as much character development outside of the mains, but it is still a great read, IMO. I also loved Frieren as well. The idea of someone who was a part of the hero's party learning to find a the emotions and meaning for existing after saving the world is interesting. I loved the slow buildup to learning her past and how she starts to truly feel alive after she starts losing her friends and realizing what she is missing. Both shows are good in their own way. They are not the same and don't appeal to the same types of viewers and that's OK. The idea that one show is arguably better than another is stupid. Can't we just enjoy the fact that anime adaptations of popular manga and manwha are on the rise.
The Perfect Actor To Play T'Challa Already Exists In The MCU
While I think MBJ would be great in the role, it would be lazy casting and there are plenty of ant other actors who would be great as well. Any idea that involves turning BP into the villan would be an awful idea that would crap all over the legacy of the character so far. It would also play into the overused stereotype of POC being the bad guy. T'challa/BP can stand against the world and not be a bad guy, the last movie showed that. CA:BNW should also be expanding on that theme as well. We have so few POC heros that get respect that we can't go around ruining them.
