I can agree with RE 1 Remake is one of the best games I had played in my youth. Scared the crap out of me. RE 2 and 3 were good straight and to the point. After that they kinda lost me. 4 is a masterpiece but the parasite thing is not really a direction I would have gone with. Just my thoughts. They need to return to form.
