See AllElden Ring May Not Be the Most Accessible FromSoftware Game For Long
Weird claims in this article. The game wasn't dumbed down. Anyone who wanted to have a tough experience with all the challenges the game had to offer, knew what amenities to avoid.
Same for Shadow of the Erdtree. Just don't use the Scadutree fragments, and you get the most challenging experience possible. People complained about the difficulty, not vice versa.
Honestly don't understand the take that making an unapproachable game leads to better gameplay or experience. Seems like this article mistakenly conflates accessibility and easiness. And you shouldn't do that, Josh.
The Crow Remake Didn't Work Because It Is No Longer The '90s
It's odd that this article reports that the plot stuck close to the original movie because, according to another review, full of spoilers, it really didn't except in the most basic sense. Instead it is much more chaotic and incohesive than the original, with plot lines that make no sense.
I would suspect that's the real reason it did poorly. I don't even find the aesthetic of the remake very 90s, they just did something different that has little parity with the spirit of the original.
Aya, did you watch this movie, or are you mainly jumping on the Crow hate bandwagon and just speculating what the hate is about? This just doesn't read as very well informed on the contrasts between the two films and the failures of the remake.
