Sure there is always.some pushback against changes.

This is the first time people have rejected the game. For many the changes attack the core.concept of civ

I find it hard to believe someone who played civ 7 would describe it in this manner.

Builders are not the issue with the game.

Predatory DLC practices, a terrible UI, a divisive ages system, terrible maps, and a lack of customization options are however.
