Alt start + not the Dragonborn + become a bard was one of my most favorite playthrough of Skyrim. All I did was travel from tavern to tavern trying to impress tavernfolk and jarls.

I disagree with your assessment. You can legit always mod the game to become less important... But you're asking for a more boring baseline game and calling it "more roleplay"

one of my favorite mods for Skyrim was called "You are NOT the Dragonborn which essentially treat you as a regular person with a few questline straight up removed because only the Dragonborn could do this. Ended up installing the "Become a Bard" mod and acted as a travelling musician to the jarl's courts.

The idea that they should somehow allow for depth in all aspects of Roleplay is asking for too much imo.

Moddable TES is a beautiful playground of lore friendly game enhancement that I can't fault Bethesda for not having.

They could improve future sales by marketing it better. Seems like their marketing it at women despite the first games having a majority male audience. Kinda not sure they expect from sales numbers.

And if you're confused by my statement, all promotions material for this game feature a woman playable character. This leads me to believe you play a woman. Gonna be honestly I don't really play any games where I have to play a woman and she's not like hot or badass in some way.

She looks homely and boring. Which is fine in a real person by why a video game lead? Seems weird but I guess maybe they don't care about the sales number and want to sell it to a niche audience.

The person who wrote it is just some random who doesn't know much about the game. They probably were just good at BSing papers in college which is how they landed this job. Professional BSers.
