Im not gonna lie, I wanna say this caught me way off guard, but I remember seeing this pictures online of the movie sets which implied that it was in fact a live action movie. When I first saw this trailer, I don't remember what I felt like, but it wasn't joy or sadness (maybe it was shock lmao). It's just so crazy how a blcoky, pixelated, sandbox game with no story was able to turn itself into a full fletched film. I would've thought it might grab some elements from Minecraft Story Mode, which is one of the best story games in my opinion, or heck it mightve just taken the story from the game and mix it up with a bunch of originality. Now that this film is a thing, and it's about a sandbox game probably everyone has played in their, there's no shot that it will receive the Sonic redemption treatment. But I think it'll be interesting to watch when it comes out.
