Yeah disagree with the article. Bad take. It failed because they misunderstood what the fan appeal for the Crow was about. They believed resurrecting the character of Eric Draven was their key to appealing to the fanbase when what we really wanted was an original story and to leave Brandon Lees character alone. The mythos of the film is a full invitation for any original plot they wanted but they ignored it in lieu of a remake absolutely none of us asked for.
