Funny thing is that it shouldn't be bad writing. The real problem is so called "fans" just ONLY wanting Naruto. Honestly it would have been better to just completely kill him off. This isn't his story. He isn't and hasn't been the main character in years. Boruto is actually good but "fans" are too hung up on the past. I grew up watching Naruto and love the character but his story was finished and done quite well. He reached his ultimate goal of becoming Hokage and creating a peaceful world. He did what he set out to do and for a long while now it's the new generation that's taking up the mantle. But because of backlash of people like you they have to bring him back and make him a central character for no reason. Boruto would be better if people would stop acting like Naruto has to be a part of the story. The only way it could have been better would have been to place it further in the future where Naruto had long died of old age or set to where he died because of his use of the tailed beasts power and/or powerful jutsu in general and it taking a toll on his body. The truth is Naruto needs to die so that people can stop constantly complaining and spewing this nonsense that Boruto is bad simply because Naruto and Sasuke got nerfed and sealed away. The cold half truth is that this isnt their story and that they don't need to come back and it would be better if they don't so the creators can finally move on and focus on this new generation.

Nearly prestige 1 myself and I can guarantee it is a thing and it's definitely not connection based. I have a constant 10-12 ping every match and some guys I can dump 30 rounds in without missing a single bullet and have them not die and then other times it takes about 4-5 shots and they can't even react in time. There's definitely some sort of bug with the health just not going down sometimes. I know stims are a thing, typically run them myself. However, you can clearly see the icon next to the hit markers when someone's using a stim and its definitely not that. Actually a perfect example: Just a few hours ago I was playing with some friends and had a guy that me and 2 of them were all shooting at from 3 separate angles nailing every shot and he was in the open but he didn't take any damage at all. We all watched the kill cam. It wasn't until one of us respawned that we were finally able to take him down
