Because BG3 isn't open world... It's a linear path that only moves forward (no backtracking) and your task is always the same (tadpole). It has deep character builds yes, but there is little to no freedom.
One path, One mission. While the tunnel to the end might be wide, it's still a tunnel.
Tom If Expedition 33 needs more than one button, someone forgot to tell the combat. I'm glad you're having fun memorizing traffic-light colors and timing minigames, but dressing it up doesn't make it deep. If I can play the whole thing with one thumb and a snack in the other hand, that's not innovation - that's ergonomics
Ignore this guy and save yourself the $20 they're charging for this slop. Just Sony Fanboys with Mommy and daddy issues, literal Disney story
"I think Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a great example, given how robust its combat system is and how deep its RPG mechanics go, including gear like weapons and pictos, each with unique perks and abilities."
It's a 1 button game... Throwing sloppy systems on top of thing doesn't make deep mechanics.
These clare guys have to get a grip. I'm done living in their fantasy world where this is a great or even good game. Sad mommy paints numbers in a fake paint world. Boo fuqn hoo.
They had the same combat system in Dragon warrior on the NES. I remember because it was my favorite in 1990 when I was 5
PlayStation put MLB the show on game pass for 3 years... And yes they agreed to the MLB terms and conditions when they agreed to make the game so it was 100% voluntary.
So sick of everyone back talking like PlayStation hasn't been getting checks from Xbox for a long time now
