See AllHow to Get PvE Lobbies in ARC Raiders
PvE wouldn’t be good for ARC Raiders because it takes away what actually makes the game exciting.
The whole point of the game is that you’re never really safe. Even if you’re fighting robots, there’s always the chance another player is nearby, watching you or waiting to jump you. That’s what makes moving around tense and makes getting out with loot feel earned.
If it’s PvE only, that feeling is gone.
Once you learn how the enemies work, it just turns into a routine. You figure out the safest paths, the best weapons, and then you’re basically farming. There’s no real danger anymore just time spent grinding.
It would also mess up progression. In PvP, you lose gear sometimes, and that keeps loot meaningful. In PvE, you’d just keep stacking gear with almost no risk, and the game would get boring fast.
Most of the memorable moments in games like this come from other players, not AI. Close calls, ambushes, escapes, those don’t really happen in PvE.
At that point, ARC Raiders wouldn’t feel like an extraction game anymore. It’d just be another co-op shooter you play for a few weeks and move on from.
I paid for 3 months ultimate gamepass and bought the game for my bother so we can play together. I saved BPs, weapons everything as a nice carepackage for joining. We were promptly robbed and killed transferring items, and I never felt sour about it, we laughed our butts off loading back into Speranza. The tension is what makes this game good.
