The characters are quite diverse and the environments are beautiful and it's one of the most enjoyable cozy games I've played.

An excellent JRPG and while the original is still beloved, this remake preserved its essence and modernized the classic.

Despite its age, it remains one of the best games ever made for those who don't mind outdated gameplay.

A solid take on the franchise's formula and hopefully Legends ZA keeps up the same level of quality.

One of the best JRPGs I've ever played. When I bought it on the Switch, I didn’t expect much, but I was blown away by the quality. Monolith Soft really did an amazing job!

One of the best combat systems I've ever played, hopefully Ghost of Yotei maintains the same level of quality.

I fondly remember the early months and the craze that Pokémon GO was, but it's a shame it took so long for my town to get content.

It's one of my favorite sci-fi games, and the improvements it got on the Nintendo Switch made everything even better!

Don't Starve Together
8 /10

Don’t Starve Together is a visually stunning game with a unique art style that perfectly matches its eerie, survival-focused atmosphere. It’s incredibly fun to play with friends, even when someone inevitably does something reckless that puts the entire base at risk. The chaos and teamwork make for unforgettable moments.

My Time At Sandrock
7 /10

My Time at Sandrock has its moments, especially for fans of life-sim games, but it doesn’t quite live up to expectations. The crafting and exploration are enjoyable, but the pacing can feel sluggish, and the world lacks the depth needed to keep you fully engaged. It’s a decent game, but it falls short of being memorable.

Spiritfarer

Spiritfarer is a game that touches your soul with its emotional depth and heartfelt storytelling. It beautifully explores themes of loss, acceptance, and letting go, all wrapped in a cozy, hand-drawn art style. Managing the spirits’ final journeys is both bittersweet and profoundly moving, making it an experience that stays with you long after you’ve finished.

Divinity: Original Sin 2
10 /10

The sheer depth of its gameplay is staggering, offering a level of freedom and creativity that few RPGs can match. The first act alone feels like a complete game, packed with intricate quests, memorable characters, and a world that begs to be explored. The combat system is complex yet rewarding, encouraging you to experiment with synergies between abilities and environmental interactions. Every decision feels meaningful, and the co-op mode adds another layer of fun to an already incredible experience. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a masterpiece that sets a new standard for the genre.

FIRE EMBLEM THREE HOUSES
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
10 /10

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a unique entry in the series, with a story and setting that truly shine. The main characters are deeply compelling, and the game’s focus on moral gray areas makes it stand out. It’s refreshing how the endings are bittersweet, reminding you that not everyone can be saved, which adds emotional depth. A must-play for fans of tactical RPGs.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon
9 /10

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a breath of fresh air for the series, thanks to its incredible protagonist, Kasuga Ichiban. He’s one of the best protagonists I’ve ever seen, offering a perfect mix of hilarious and heartfelt moments that make you truly care about his journey. The shift to turn-based combat was a risky move, but it paid off brilliantly, adding a new layer of strategy and charm to the game. With its engaging story, quirky side activities, and unforgettable characters, it’s a must-play for both longtime fans and newcomers.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Tag Page Cover Art
Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire
7 /10

It’s a game that, since it isn’t directly inspired by other tabletop RPGs, takes some time to get used to its unique rules and systems. However, once you get the hang of it, everything starts to flow more smoothly. The setting of Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is fantastic, with a rich, vibrant world that feels alive and full of detail. Exploring the islands and sailing your ship across the seas is an adventure in itself, making it a journey worth taking, even if just for the atmosphere and the thrill of being a pirate.

Alan Wake
7 /10

Alan Wake has an incredibly gripping story that keeps you hooked from start to finish, though the combat never really clicked with me - it felt a bit repetitive and clunky. That said, the atmosphere and setting are absolutely worth it, especially for fans of psychological horror. The eerie, small-town vibe and the tension it builds make it a memorable experience, even if the gameplay isn’t perfect.

Stardew Valley
10 /10

Stardew Valley is the perfect escape for anyone looking to forget about life for a while and have fun in a small-town setting. As a fan of Story of Seasons, I can see how Stardew Valley took many common elements from the franchise but transformed them into something with its own unique personality. It also appeals to nostalgia with its charming retro-style graphics, making it a cozy and heartfelt experience for both new players and fans of classic farming sims.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
9 /10

The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece, but it does take some time to fully grab you. The quests at the beginning can feel a bit slow and repetitive, but once the story picks up, it becomes an unforgettable experience. The characters, world-building, and side quests are absolutely phenomenal, making it easy to get lost in its rich narrative. That said, I was a bit disappointed with the final boss, it didn’t quite live up to the epic buildup the game had created. Still, it’s a minor flaw in what is otherwise one of the greatest RPGs of all time.

Wasteland 3
9 /10

Wasteland actually came before Fallout, created by the same developers, so the settings of both games feel similar—perfect for fans of that traditional, parody-filled humor the franchise is known for. That said, Wasteland 3 is a huge evolution over its predecessor, offering more fun gameplay and more engaging combat. It’s one of the most enjoyable games in the genre I’ve ever played.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker
7 /10

This was the game that introduced me to the settings and system of Pathfinder, which later became one of my favorites. However, despite Kingmaker being an excellent game, it has some design issues that might bother some players, especially regarding combat and the lack of balance in encounters. That said, the fantastic characters more than make up for it.
