Infinity Nikki
The game’s stunning visuals and vibrant world really stand out. I often find myself getting lost in the beauty of the landscapes, spending hours capturing photos or taking group shots with others. The hourglass feature, which lets you view and enjoy other players' photography, is a nice touch and adds to the fun of seeing what others have created.
The way outfits impact your journey is another unique feature of the game. Base full outfits are easy to unlock through the main quests, but additional outfits are harder to obtain through the gacha system. You pull for each part of the outfit, and if you don’t get them all, you can’t use the alternate outfits for specific skills. However, the parts you pull can still be used in your main outfit. While earning in-game currency for pulls isn’t too hard, the RNG can be unforgiving, and completing full outfits often requires spending extra money.
The themes of resilience, hope, and perseverance really resonate, and the soundtrack helps bring everything to life. I also appreciate the ability to add friends and chat online, though I do hope the hinted multiplayer features will come to fruition—it could really enhance the experience.
Overall, Infinity Nikki is a beautifully designed game with a lot of creative potential. The world could definitely benefit from a bit more depth, and microtransactions might turn some players off, but the charm of the game still makes it a memorable experience. It would be great if the gacha system were refined and multiplayer features were added, but I’m still enjoying it as is.
