Half-Life 3 Insider Gives Promising Development Update

I would think the physics would be trying to match or exceed those of competitors like Unreal Engine 5.x... Each update of that engine has been super impressive. Realism is in demand.

Rumor: Half-Life 3 is Fully Playable

Oh my god, I've been waiting for HL3 ever since playing through HL2 and the two extras. I still play to this day on either PC or XBOX X... I just hope upon hope that the graphics are stepped up even higher than that of HL2... Seeing all the Unreal 5+ driven games out there makes me hopeful that Valve/Steam will have stepped up, exponentially, with the graphics. Even if HL3 was released with the same graphics as HL2, I could live with it. The story lines of the game are so entertaining and being a FPS makes it even better. Yeah, I'm a 61 year old die hard fan.:) Say hey if you live around Jacksonville, FL (by way of NY).:)

DOOM: The Dark Ages Dev Explains Why There is No Multiplayer

I've always preferred FPS modes to Multiplayer madness. Too many cheaters, hackers, and often crappy people playing online in the multi-verses. They can have it. I'll take the focus on the single-player experience. I was playing Doom back in the early 90s (?) On ancient PCs during work breaks, lol.... All that said, I' dream of seeing a Half Life 3 in FPS with graphics at the Unreal 5+ level. HL2 is still my favorite sci-fi shooter game of all time on all platforms.
