From a purely financial standpoint, the concept is gold because it doesn't depend on any specific starting actors? Anyone can be behind the mask, or operating the creature controls. Din Djarin himself only requires voice work, and although it would be good to have the same actor always voicing him, it isn't impossible to find a new voice actor.

This should be right up Disney's alley! Merchandising of their animated characters always benefited from that fact of not having to pay any likeness royalties.
