Glitches and performance issues that are making the game difficult to play for a decent sized group of people: it's the players' problem.
Glitch that doesn't hurt the experience in any way and is kind of fun and funny: that's not supposed to happen and we might have to patch it out.
I wonder how many more copies they would have sold if it was actually optimized and tested, and if they didn't blame the players for it. I personally know of 4, myself included, that have decided to wait several months and see if anything improves.
As usual, people commenting about the article without apparently actually reading the article... They're not saying that Atreides-aligned should be allowed to join a Harkonnen-aligned guild. They're saying that if somebody joins an UNALIGNED guild that later aligns with one faction, the people who did not know that would happen should not be penalized for it by automatically being forced out of their guild. They should have an opportunity to do something in response. And I agree. Somebody aligned to Atreides and being forced to betray them and join the Harkonnens (even though they then killed him) is CANON.
