It didn't face "review bombing." People didn't like the game for a variety of reasons and made their voices heard, that's not review bombing, that's called sharing your opinion.

Forgetting all the controversy surrounding this game, I'll be giving it a miss. It's just boring, the same old formula over and over and over again. Sure they've tried to change things up a bit in the last few games, but not in the direction they should have as far as I'm concerned. They should have leant more into the stealth side of the game, you know, being an assassin and all, but they went the opposite direction and it's all just very formulaic and dull.

Just because PC players point out there isn't much of a difference with the remaster and the current PC version doesn't mean they are hating on the console versions. The comments are directly aimed at the remaster vs the current PC version. So: This has NOTHING to do with Consoles. Sorry, but not sorry. Not everything has to do with your console world. Some people really do prefer PC. #factsyoudontlike
