I agree, the mods for energy based weapons are severely limited. My favorite is the Blitzer and the only mod is an irrelevant sight/scope the can improve "ergonomics". As you build up the levels, it would be nice to be able to improve the distance it can fire, the speed between shots and the damage it hands out. I appreciate what they're doing, but they should sit back and think from a players standpoint
One additional stratagem slot would be optimal. You could bring down a weapon, a backpack of some sort, orbitals/eagles and defenses(sentries, mines). Having the option for an additional orbital, eagle, sentry, mines, etc...... Would be great. Also, the ability to turn friendly for on or off. Both of these options have been discussed heavily amongst many players from all over the world and Arrowhead would have many more pleased helldivers if they started to consistently listen to them 💯
The new "customization" is ok at best. The biggest disappointment was getting extended magazines or drums, but then losing the total amount that you can carry. Which at the end of the day is the exact same amount of ammo, you can just hold the trigger a little longer. If we're going to use our super credits to buy this stuff, it should actually increase, not just seem cool.
I think that it is ridiculous that you need to equip the booster to come down fully stocked from your spaceship that sends all of it down to you on supply pods. It makes no sense. It's rare that people bring something other than those 3. Occasionally extraction expert or super stim, aside from those, nothing else really
