What's the point in even watching Boruto? I was excited about watching it, even if I haven't managed to watch too many episodes. Haven't read the manga. But with their treatment of Naruto and Sasuke, especially Naruto, what's the point of me even watching it? I mean seriously? There was no way for Boruto to grow into what he was meant to be, without taking everything that Naruto and Sasuke were? Especially what Naruto was? Seriously? That's just ridiculous. Yeah, it's Boruto's story, but that didn't mean they needed to treat Naruto this way and make him into someone who's forgotten their promises and forgets to be with his family. It's ridiculous. They didn't need to ruin Naruto and Shippuden, to grow Boruto. It disgusts me, ruining something and someone so beautiful and good, when it wasn't even necessary. I was excited to watch Boruto, wanted to have the episodes and save them so that I could watch it whenever I wanted, but reading articles like this and realizing they're ruining Naruto and who he'd become and promises he'd made in Shippuden, just to make Boruto grow, it just pisses me off. So I'm not even gonna bother watching it. I wasted days, weeks, months, watching Naruto and Shippuden, falling in love with the characters and everything, every time I watched them. There's no way I'm watching Boruto and letting it hurt me by watching how it treats and hurts, and ruins, characters I've grown to love. I seriously don't understand how true fans of Naruto and Shippuden can tolerate watching it and seeing how their favorite characters got ruined. I'm so not watching Boruto anymore. I couldn't care less if it redeems itself one day. The damage was done. For me, it's only Naruto and Shippuden. Boruto doesn't exist for me. At all!!!! And it never will.
