They were in Battlefield 2042 and it has been widely hated. Battlefield 2042 had an identity crisis, due to the fact it was unrecognizable when compared to the rest of the franchise and most of the community hated it. Battlefield is know for its class system and its been universally loved since it's inception. In peak BF3 and BF4 people were using their preferred clases to help push their team to victory.
