See AllZelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Depths May Have Opened a Door it Can't Close
Nintendo has already implied that the next iteration will be a completely interactive game. What does that mean? The improvements in AI technology as well as OS's and Video cards are invititing a new style of gaming. Nintendo implied the Open World format is getting a shot of adreneline. Now, open world not only will be complete open but the gaming engine too will be completely open. You may walk into a cave and find some green matter that glows and if you eat it you will turn into a Volkswagon, while I may walk into that same cave and find a portal to an entirely different dimension where there is a universe to explore, create, solve etc. And perhaps no other person that plays the game will ever set foot in that dimension, It will all be created on-the-fly by the AI engine. It will respond and create infinitely and each playthrough of the game will be new. No more cheat codes/mods, no more emulators, just an amazing, Literally Open World game. I can't wait.
