See AllBattlefield 6 Has Reached a Concerning Milestone
Like Derek, I too have grown bored with it. I believe the true issue is that the game is inundated with issues (perceived or real). Specifically, there is a gameplay difference between those on Mouse and Keyboard vs those using a controller. Controllers have Aim Assist (way overpowered IMO), reduced Bloom, and reduced recoil. Some have even stated that PC players have a generated network issue applied to their connection.
With all of that said, I personally have seen things during the game that just don't add up. Whether this is because of PC cheaters or console Chronus users, I can't really say. What I can say though is that the game is very frustrating and just doesn't "feel" fair. At times, you may go on a crazy KDR run and then sometime during that game you will go on this run where you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a boat in the middle of the ocean.
To compound issues, in EA's forums it's almost as if there is a deaf ear to issues that are being discussed by the community. Virtually no comments by EA staff appear to be posted for a majority of the complaints.
The game "could" be fun. If you're wondering why the quote marks around the word "could", it's because it isn't fun enough to continue the torture of playing the game for longer than 30 minutes to an hour. Previous version of the series (I've been playing since 1942) had a different "feel" to them. They were actually fun to play. The downfall appears to have started sometime after BF1.
It's honestly sad. This used to be a fun franchise. Now, it appears that Devs only want to cater to the "sweaty bois" and have completely forgotten about the players that helped lift them up through their playing of the game, their constant positive reviews, and word-of-mouth marketing towards friends and family, encouraging them to buy the BF series. Now, a large portion of those players have turned their backs on EA/Dice and refuse to recommend the latest version. Kudos EA/Dice.
