Your argument is Mass Effect Andromeda? The most hated game in the series? Also, that game was in a completely different galaxy for a reason. So that they could avoid even referencing the previous games if they wanted. Which did not work out well for the reception of the game. But yeah if they're going to reference the previous games at all then they will have to choose some amount of canon. It seems like the plot involves krogan's for instance. So I am assuming they will let you know if the genophage was cured or not? Lots of things that maybe weren't the "ending" of any of the games but they greatly changed the shape of the whole universe around you by the end of the game.

This whole article is a perfect example of why Arc raiders DOES need a PvE only mode. It will not remove the PvPvE mode that is currently available. And you will have even more "tension" added from the PvP with more PvP focused players playing that mode so have fun with it. But a ton of people who have not even bought the game, or who bought the game and regret it, would get to enjoy the game with more Arc focused combat where it is a cohesive team unable to have 1 bad apple betray everyone and screw over everyone trying to actually do endgame content. This article is nothing but one person's anecdotal individual experience. But when the top comments on all of these articles and all the reddit forums are "hey we need a PvE mode" with plenty of current/former players of the game as well as people who never bought the game but would buy and play the game if they could omit the PvP experience all agreeing and liking the post then it seems silly to see people talk about the issue as if adding a PvE only option would disable the PvPvE option from the game entirely or something. Let people choose how they want to play.

"That's YOUR story" but they will have to choose a canon ending as well as canon for several other major decisions in order to build their world with it being after the events of the mass effect trilogy. If they wanted to leave the Shepard/Reaper story alone this needed to be a prequel story.

I mean the DLC has been out for quite a long time. People should have known this was coming. Only 1-2 more seasons until we see a second DLC I imagine since last I saw early 2026 is the window. Then it will be a year+ until that new DLC is something you have to buy to experience all seasonal content close to 1-2 seasons from the next DLC. And the cycle will continue. It's not a new practice for MMOs or live service games.

100% agree. I love the game and got about 100 hours with 1 Hunter working my way through to Ultimate Vault Hunter 5, which btw there is basically no reward for. They do not give you much extra for moving forward past UVH1. Just an increased drop rate for legendaries from regular mobs. Bosses get no increase in drop rate and there is no increase in the quality or DPS of the legendaries you get. But then after getting to UVH5, having most gear you want by then typically, there is basically nothing to do. I like that you can endlessly level specialization points but I feel like we need a quick wave/round shooter type activity for quick action once you are at UVH5. I don't want to replay the same missions over and over. That isn't an endgame at all

This system will be worse. No RNG until sanctification but then no scrolls or anything to undo sanctification means they just saved RNG for the last and most important permanent part of crafting. And it is a 1 time shot in the dark upgrade. There will be so many perfectly built, then perfectly destroyed items out there. The benefits of sanctification are gonna have to be absolutely huge to even make the risk worth it at that point.

Shroud of false death has been more universally suggested in top 5+ builds the last few seasons. Heir of Perdition very often loses to the harlequin crest as far as final endgame builds go. It is basically a coin toss which one will be considered to work better for which top builds but both of them have very universal appeal so you can often use one in place of the other if you get the wrong one first.

You know Magick archer typically stomps Sorcerer in DD2 right? I love the giant spells sorcerer can get that seem massive. But they also take forever to cast so you had better have a good pawn. I went from Mage to Sorcerer to Magick archer and the easiest vocation to just walk around taking out dragons with was Magick archer by far. I had meteoron and maelstrom Sorcerer spells and those give a certain massively powerful feeling that it is hard to get from anything else in the game. But the casting is sooo looong. It can be hard to justify using them. Magick Archer was definitely the more efficient/stronger vocation imo.

This article is for people who haven't noticed the direct correlation with the rise in AI and then suddenly they're able to keep all these game studios open with hundreds/thousands of layoffs. Its because with a lot of coding and programming jobs you can have 1 guy using AI to do what 10+ guys used to do. And eventually all game studios will be taking advantage of it. Not a good industry to be in right now unless you're at the top.

The game had very expensive development(was notably one of the first 100% Unreal 5 full release games) it was delayed which cost more money and then the devs had to do so much development work after release to fix it because it was very buggy on release. Once again that was more money. So the big issue here was the game cost too much for them to make and fix and update so now it will likely never be profitable. I don't see them making another one since the OG lords of the fallen was also not profitable

I initially liked the rework of nightmare dungeons but they were basically all I did until I had my arcana full and now they feel mostly useless again other than the escalating ones. Hordes is still more efficient for gathering obducite and it all depends if you play mostly solo or not but I do and because of the added experience I get from having people around my experience gain is still best in a helltide doing the demon ritual over and over. In comparison to not having that experience buff and running "forgotten wisdom" dungeons.

There have been people interested in buying TikTok with all the money they need for a long time now. Ever since this whole "TikTok will be banned if they don't let the U.S. Buy it" thing started. China has been unwilling to allow the company to sell. They claim the algorithm for TikTok as well as the data it has gathered to be a matter of national security. So the problem has been they don't want to/can't sell. But I am sure we will find out in "2 weeks" lol

I am glad they are letting Treyarch do this one too. Zombies is half the fan base at this point. There are better competitive PvP multiplayer FPS games instead of call of duty.

This is how the majority of physical release discs are for at least the last 2 years+. You don't actually get a full playable version of the game lol. Even the games that do technically have a working release version of a game have a day 1 patch half as big as the game that is necessary to make the game work properly. Are people really just now figuring this out?

I mean its been optimized first and foremost for DLSS. Once the PSSR gets better optimized(possibly by release, even on PC FSR was not FSR4 yet for the reviewer version)it will work better than any console.

So now Sony(PS5 pro uses AI upscaling with PSSR as well as recently deciding on a working partnership with AMD to use FSR4) uses AI upscaling and Nintendo is going to use it for Switch 2. All while Xbox is over there telling developers they've got to get any game that is released on Xbox to run on a series S hardware with no upscaling. I think unless there is some sort of series X pro and policy changes about series S that comes out then you will start seeing a lot of delayed launches for Xbox/more PS5 and PC exclusives just because the developer can't get their game working/looking properly on the Series S and they don't want their game/optimization to be blamed for it.

Maybe releasing a new DLC will help them focus on fixing the numerous bugs in survival ascended, a game that has not been updated with fixes and/or new features nearly often enough. The game looks pretty if you're not moving at all lol

This seems like a nice way to add some replayability to a game that is supposedly not as long as the last few were. Play it canon to see how it is supposed to all go. Then play RPG mode with dialogue options to see how much you can change things.
