Honestly this is not the first time stuff like this has happened on battlefront 2, and it’s been going on pretty bad for several weeks now. EA gets targeted by hackers all the time. Few years ago Apex was attacked and we all got a “fix titanfall” message from the hackers at the end of each game.
Even if you have greater than or equal to their recommended pc requirements the game still does not run like a properly optimized game would. It is dragons dogma 2 all over again, if not worse. Console optimization isn’t much better, watch the digital foundry video on it.
It is possible to get copies of games prior to the official release date, honestly some retailers just don’t care. I got halo 3 a week ahead of time at Walmart and black ops 1 a day before release date at FYE. It was not because I knew somebody, it is simply just because they couldn’t be bothered to stay for midnight release so they gave them out early.
