No one under 40 has any reason to even be commenting here. No offense but none of them have any clue if they didn't play every game the year it came out
I Recently Marathoned the Legend of Zelda Games, and Here's My Official Ranking
I agree with your statement as I said the same thing in my post. If you were born after 1985 you are banned from releasing a list like this because, all due respect, you have no clue what you're talking about.
I Recently Marathoned the Legend of Zelda Games, and Here's My Official Ranking
I see a lot of bias in this list and it's impossible not to have it based on your generation etc. It's always hilarious to me to see younger guys determine this order when they literally weren't old enough to play the games in their time LOL. Allow my old ass to enlighten you all as I played every one of them when they came out;
---> #1: Link to the Past (SNES) remains the best Zelda today. It's not even debatable for purists (must've been born in the 70s or early 80s). Way ahead of its time more than any other on this list. If you're under 38, there is just no way you'll ever see this or rate it this way, but it dominated what was maybe the greatest all time console.
---> #2: Ocarina (N64) completely took over the lives of every kid at the time. Between it and Goldeneye it dominated an entire year or two of gaming across all systems.
---> #3 is the very first Zelda ever (NES). Defined an entire genre and was a masterpiece at the time.
---> #4 is the Gameboy's Link's Awakening. Again, this another one you'd only understand if you were playing it at 13 years old when the Game Boy was the best system on the market. At the time, no game could touch Link's Awakening.
---> TOTK and BOTW were exactly as you wrote, Ubisoft open world games. Awful. Breakable weapons?! Are you kidding me. Forcing me to craft. Ugh. These games were made for low attention Minecraft kids and it's exactly why they sold millions of copies. For an adult gamer with 40+ yrs gaming, these two games were B tier at best.
True Top Zelda Games List:
1. Link to the Past (SNES)
2. Ocarina of Time (N64)
3. Legend of Zelda (NES)
4. Link's Awakening (Gameboy)
If you’ve picked up Arc Raiders and can’t seem to enjoy it, you’re not alone
Maybe loot more high end gear. It's a huge adrenaline rush trying not to get robbed/killed while trying to extract with an item you see once every 25 game sessions.
I play free loadout until my stash is completely full then I use my best gear. It still sucks losing a high end weapon.

It can't be cheaty since everyone can do it lol. The third person is a huge part of the game and makes it more accessible to all gamers, if this was 1st person the full time gamers/streamers would dominate play, casual gamers couldn't compete and just wouldn't bother playing.
If you haven't noticed casual gamers have completely checked out of COD, Battlefield, Apex etc permanently. It's literally why this game has so much popularity right now.

This same reviewer will rave about a 10/10 Zelda game that's exactly the same thing with destructible weapons you are literally working to get materials to craft new ones, nonstop. All games feel like work in one mechanic or another.
