My single biggest gripe about the game right now is actually the armor mods capacity / stat tiers / etc.
To summarize, it's one big giant mess & that's putting it very lightly
I've seen some of the news that they're reworking at least part of it, which is good, better in my opinion than doing absolutely nothing & leaving it in the current travesty status
Mod slots on armor should unlock when upgrading and those should replace capacity, in the current system I slot four mods (not counting adepts for obvious reasons) into an armor & see there's still 1 capacity remaining which triggers me into having fits or whatever, maybe it's possible that I have undiagnosed OCD? Anyway yes there are the concerns about +3 vs +5 vs +10 of a stat so maybe also rework the adept system on armor to have an upgradable stat slot, where as you upgrade that specifically it can go up to that? I'm just spitballing but let's hope the armor rework is part of what saves Destiny 2 & NOT part of what is currently dooming it
EDIT: Speaking of the +X of stat, maybe there could be "Hybrid stat mods" where you want to have +10 total in a stat but instead of +10 in one, that could be +5 in two for +10 total. Also, while we're on the topic of armor / stats and such: GHOST MODS. There needs to be some option to have an "opposite" of the armorer mods, where if you say want to do the opposite of focusing in a stat, it could be a MAXIMUM of 10 (instead of a minimum of 10) with a chance to roll that chosen stat lower (vs. Higher)
