Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate
TMNT: Splintered Fate delivers shell-kicking action with plenty of build variety for our favorite amphibious heroes. However, the true ending can be wrapped up in about 5 hours, leaving the post-game grind feeling as hollow as an unstuffed pizza crust.
Path of Exile
Path of Exile is like the rebellious cousin Diablo wishes it could be—complex, deep, gritty, and unapologetically grindy. Its intricate skill trees and endless loot chase will have you questioning your life choices, but in the best way possible.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3 is a storytelling masterpiece, seamlessly blending rich dialogue and immersive world-building that pay homage to the original novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. Its side quests are so thoughtfully crafted and emotionally engaging that they often feel as compelling as the main campaign, setting a gold standard for narrative depth in gaming. From stunning locations to branching storylines, The Witcher 3 is a journey that never truly ends—something RPG fans will never complain about.
Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 sets the gold standard for humor in gaming, delivering great moments with its absurd characters, sharp writing, and iconic one-liners. Handsome Jack’s villainous wit steals the show, making every encounter both chaotic and hilarious. It’s easily the funniest installment in the franchise, turning a wild loot-and-shoot adventure into a comedy masterpiece.
Darkest Dungeon
Darkest Dungeon stands as one of the best Lovecraftian games out there. Its unsettling lore and nightmarish enemy designs evoke the horrors of the unknown. The relentless challenge of managing your team's sanity while facing eldritch terrors makes every victory feel earned and every defeat painfully memorable. It’s a game that sticks with you long after you’ve put it down.
Subnautica
Subnautica is not just about surviving the ocean depths; it is about immersing yourself in a world that is as mysterious as it is mesmerizing, with an atmosphere that leaves you eager to explore further while keeping an eye on your oxygen supply.
