See All‘Crossed a Line That Should Not Be Crossed’ Former Capcom Dev Asks Gamers Not to Buy Palworld
Aaron that loading screen patent was introduced when social media and the internet in general was in it's infancy, most people still don't know we can't have loading screen minigames anymore, they just think they went out of style or took away from precious development time.
This is boot on the throat of innovation, the fact these patents went through is absurd and goes against why patents were invented in the first place, to protect the invention of someone without the means to enforce it's ownership, ofcourse it evolved into some disgusting monopolising show of capitalism.
If we let them get away with it, it sets a precidence and in a few years we'll have 1 company making 1 game and it's the guys with money, a AAA stranglehold on the industry with nothing to protect indie devs.
How many times do they need to push the envelope before you remember where we were and where we are now
Borderlands 4 Has Just Taken a First Step in What Will Surely Be a Long Journey
This game is 100% made for console first, there's not a doubt in my mind.
The menu's, the button idiot insurance where you have to hold shit to make things permanent, the enemy's jerky movement designed to play and feel good with auto aim, some of the keybinds and many more indicators.
I also find this game quite boring, it peaks about 60% through and now i just have to slog through more of the same enemies for 20 hours with boring guns.
Borderlands 4 Will Be Missing Some Features at Launch
I think overall cross save is used by the minority, none of my friends or people I've ever talked to use it, that's what I'm basing that estimation on.
It's okay to stick to the scedule if that's all that's missing on launch and pump effort in the actual game, dot the i's and all that, I hope it meets or even exceeds my personal expectations.
Borderlands 4 Will Be Missing Some Features at Launch
I'm not sure how saying they could sell it for 200 bucks being the reason you shouldn't pre-order, you don't pre-order because the game could be a buggy mess at launch, but the game is 70 bucks which is pushed to be the new standard AAA price.
I think we're still lucky relative to warhammer fans or card game fans, we get a lot for the price
Borderlands 4 Will Be Missing Some Features at Launch
Perhaps that's why they dropped their new franchise wide policies a few months ago, to just be able to ban modders like this.
Borderlands 4 Reveals One Feature Aimed At Improving Replayability
You mean, modern AAA market price? It's not exactly an indie game, but vote with your wallet, if you think it's too expensive don't buy it, the majority always wins 😉
