The Original Plan For Scream 7 Would've Been Really Great

No, Ortega had scheduling conflicts. Though it was announced after Barrera’s firing, leading to the incorrect idea the two things were related, it had apparently been decided months before. Ortega is everywhere (tv, movies), so this is not hard to believe.
