Happy Birthday was written in 1800s and still isn't in the public domain. If I went to a lawyer and told him I wanted 100yr copyright he would tell me it was impossible, but Happy Birthday is still owned by the same corp that had it then. It's all BS.

4yrs is an incredibly short period of time to keep up with everything ever made to be sure none of it contains bits that have been stolen from you. The problem here is the law is ancient and needs updating so it is abused less. Large corporations know this and steal all the time.
