The current ending sucks. Deku getting a quirk just to lose it so that he can fail saving someone who didn't want to be saved and who died hating everything was a horrible ending.

The ending is still.dumb, having Deku give up One For All was always as predictable as it is stupid, and there were a thousand better ways to tell the story with the same message about what it means to be a hero. Deku as a character wasn't even that good of a character in my opinion towards the end. If Superman permanently gave up his powers to try and save Darkseid from being evil we'd all say that was a retarded thing to do and that Superman was an idiot. Why does Deku get praised for doing essentially the same thing?
