DiMA is a liar and manipulator. He appears to show remorse but sends you off on personal assassinations to further Acadia. The reason you turn up at far harbour is because you're looking for a girl who thinks she's a synth. She isn't but DiMA tells her she is then tells the soul survivor that he is too.

If you take the choices as having binary outcomes without the context of a wider franchise you're closer to being right about Virgil but the rest have implications outside of the surface value the game gives.

I remember playing the original and feeling dread when that breathing started, I'm deaf now so I can't hear it and it makes them quite cheesy enemies that just appear from nowhere but they lose that fear factor, playing the game with your sound off would definitely make it harder but it would turn into a by the numbers 3rd person shooter
