There's more than enough source material to work with. Unless they decide to start making more than 12 episodes per season we are looking at atleast 5 seasons maybe 7 seasons until we finish the main storyline. Then there's also the sequel storyline Solo Leveling Ragnarok. I feel like they should up the number of episodes per season. Hopefully this delay could be a sign of that.

I think I'm going to have to go back and read the Manhwa again. Where did you get the Architect's name? Kandiaru? I don't remember that mage having a name. Anyways, the one thing that has always come to my mind is the way that they identify the ranks in the first place. It's based on mana. When they checked Sung Jinwoo after he woke up from the double dungeon his number was 10. Same number as his MP at the time. So I hypothesis that fake rankers must be able to manipulate their MP before getting evaluated. Later in the sequel story Solo Leveling Ragnarok Beru pointed this out as well. Sung Suho's intense training caused his strength to get a massive boost but he was still thought to be weak due to his rank.

Beru! Yea! They finally introduced him in the Anime. My favorite character in this story. After he started to be Jinwoo's sister's proctor in her shadow he got bored by how much sleep she needed and started to watch Korean TV. He picked up on human culture and it was pretty hilarious. Beru became the 2nd most powerful shadow in service to Sung Jinwoo at the end of the main story and reached the top rank of Marshall along with two others.
