It's like a drop of water in the ocean to what mare could provide. I don't think people were mostly using it to share glamour. You can instantly change the appearance of your character with glamourer, you could see their custom emote dance mods and hear the little songs they play, you could give yourself a giant Pokemon tail, you could be 20 feet tall. So it's a nice gesture but it certainly won't quench the thirst of most old mare users haha.
